WELCOME TO DIXIE DAVIS

First of all, Welcome to my humble home on the Web! You might be wondering exactly what this website is about, so here is a brief description of its contents:

~~NOTE: UPDATED AUGUST 2009. I WILL BE ADDING MORE PAGES SOON-BARBIE DOLLS, SPIRITUAL AND BIKER RELATED, ETC. ALSO A FEW MORE MUSICIAN PAGES...LIKE ONE FOR TAMMY WYNETTE.~~

I was born and raised in the south, so many of the pages of this website reflect this. I am a military mom and a ex-military wife and support our troops, past and presently serving, so there are pages that reflect this as well.

You will find sections devoted to my family, my personal interest and causes I support and a section filled mainly with my poetry and some of my other writings.

I love music, so there are pages that showcase some of my all time favorite musicians.

Another section spotlights my collections; bumper stickers, blinkies and dollz mostly, and various other graphics that I have adopted or collected over the years. I also have a love for faeries and posers and you will find those in the collections section too.

I like to dabble in graphic design and used to use websets that I obtained from other websites that offered linkware, but I finally decided to dispose of all of those sets and create my own. By creating my own websets, I was able to personalize this website my own way and feel that it gave it more of my own personal and creative touch. Every page you view will feature all my own graphics and websets.

I think that pretty well covers it all! I hope you enjoy your visit!

A PERSONAL NOTE:

This website did not evolve overnight. I have had it for years, under another domain name (Databuds and then Forever In Blue Jeans-2001 till I sold it in February 2008) and as you view the various sections you will find MANY pages to view. It is now a condensed version of the various pages I have made thru the years. It is a accumulation of love and thought and it took me a lot of hours making all the pages. I hope that you will take the time to view as many sections that you can and that you will bookmark my website, so that you can visit again to view it all. Joy and peace in your journey.
